I’m amazed that Three One G hasn’t shown interest in this band. That statement alone should tell you all you need to know about White Ribs, but I’ll tell you some more. White Ribs are an incredible band from Victoria, BC that play noise punk/experimental hardcore/I have no idea what to call it. What I can tell you is that there’s definitely some The Locust worship here. The interesting thing is that this band is a two-piece, but they pull off this sound just as well (if not better at times) as The Locust. It’s loud, it’s frantic, it shows a total disregard for song structure, and most songs clock in at under a minute. For most people, that’s a pretty undesirable combination. For me and all the other Three One G weirdos out there, this is gold. If you love this kind of music as much as I do, check this out now. I guarantee you’ll love it.
